Title:  Senior Manufacturing Engineer

CommScope is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for an opportunity located in Euless, Texas.



  • Track and facilitate all aspects of new product launch into a pilot line facility and subsequently into high volume manufacturing.
  • Execute and monitor new product introduction builds to drive improvements.
  • Bridge the gap between customer requirements and the manufacturing community. 
  • Define manufacturing capability and strategy for execution of new product lines.
  • Work on cross-functional teams at multiple locations using both internal and external resources. Significant interaction with key stakeholders in R&D, process integration, test engineering, reliability, and quality groups is expected.
  • Distribute progress reports on product readiness to stakeholders.



  • Lead team meetings to facilitate communication between organizations and functions as required to meet program timing objectives.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure systems and equipment are on schedule.
  • Support design and process optimization efforts.
  • Document best practices and drive continuous improvements.
  • Develop and implement missing product engineering disciplines and infrastructure gaps.
  • Enable successful new product introduction by driving development & manufacturing organization through disciplined, phase gate process to define product and manufacturing readiness.
  • Define, document, and support new product roadmap.
  • Cross-functional translation of new customer product requirements into internal manufacturing product requirements document. Drive manufacturing and development organizations to achieve these requirements.
  • Bridge technical gaps between development, engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and the customer to ensure the division’s global product specifications meet the needs of all parties. May work with applications engineering in fulfilling this responsibility.
  • Work with cross-functional team including manufacturing, commercial, environmental, & quality to ensure that all required certifications are acquired, new product can be sold, and manufacturing ramp achieved.
  • Interface with design, test, manufacturing, reliability, applications, foundry and marketing groups to identify opportunities, drive projects to completion, and verify effectiveness.



  • Completed Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical, Materials, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or Related Discipline with eight years of experience in manufacturing, including product, process and manufacturing engineering. 
  • High volume manufacturing experience required.
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation tools such as MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Matlab, JMP, or other similar software tools.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to drive & deliver results and to build cross-cultural teams.
  • At least 1 year of personnel management experience required
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with data analysis tools such as JMP or Minitab.



  • Master’s Degree or equivalent technical degree.
  • Experience with ERP like SAP
  • DOE, SPC and other statistical tools.
  • Six Sigma, Green Belt, Lean.
  • Experience with product drawings, GD&T, and required software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Background in sheet metal, welding and fabrication.
  • Background in Coating, Paint, Powder paint and galvanizing

  • 5% - 10% domestic and international travel may be required.
