Title:  International Tax and Transfer Pricing Analyst

CommScope is looking to add an International Tax and Transfer Pricing Analyst to join our team in Westchester, IL, or Suwanee, GA.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World.

You will be responsible for assisting in the determination of revised or new intercompany transfer prices, quarterly testing of arm’s length pricing, and our intercompany transfer pricing documentation studies to align with U.S. and foreign income tax laws. Responsibilities will also include assisting with the preparation and analysis of U.S. international tax compliance matters and other special projects.

 

We are looking for you to assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision (i.e., ASC 740) by testing global intercompany transactions to ensure accurate earnings in applicable countries, including maintenance of well-documented supporting work-papers. Includes ensuring compliance with U.S. required Sarbanes Oxley control maintenance and testing. Preparation of transfer pricing reports to support CommScope's transfer pricing positions taken on its U.S., state, and foreign income tax returns. Assist in the defense of U.S. and foreign income tax audits, including preparation of proposed responses and supporting documentation to such inquiries and audits.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in related curriculum such as Accounting, Finance or Business preferred with 0-2 years of related experience.
  • PC skills with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and validated experience collaborating effectively.
  • Possess innovative problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities with the ability to run multiple tasks independently.
  • Effective prioritization skills - ability to lead within a sophisticated environment, with multiple significant and changing priorities.
  • Experience with One Source compliance software or similar, SAP financial accounting software, FCCS/EPBCS, Oracle, and/or Thomson Reuter’s One Source-Documentor is desirable but not required.
