Title:  Territory Account Manager (East)

Due to growth and customer demand, we are seeking a pro-active, results driven and energetic Territory Account Manager to be based in Ottawa, Ontario.

Ruckus is in search of a Territory Account Manager, for strategic management of its business in Ottawa, Ontario and surrounding areas.  This is a critical role responsible for driving revenue, increasing market share and the development of strong Customer and Partner relationships and new business development. In this role you will be responsible for the execution of the sales go-to-market strategy across a defined territory, and work with channel partners to apply a hands-on approach to driving sales and channel functions. The ideal candidate will have an interest identifying, managing and promoting Wi-Fi and Ethernet switching infrastructure products across this territory. 
 
Within this role you will be responsible for identifying and developing a key set of partners, whilst also pro-actively driving the sales of Ruckus Networks Wi-Fi and Ethernet Switching infrastructure products across the defined geography, delivering demonstrably higher performance in high user density environments such as Government, Education, Connected Cities, Public Venues and Hotels.  
 
The ability to understand the key business metrics that ensure a business partners success, whilst also collaboratively engaging with end user accounts to identify customers’ business, 

 technology and product requirements and appropriately matching solutions to meet customer needs is key in this role to succeed. Influencing purchase decisions, performing revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning and managing internal and external customer relationships, are all critical success factors for this role.   This role reports into the Canadian Country Leader and can be based anywhere in the Ottawa, Ontario area.   It is advantageous for the successful candidate to possess professional qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Engineering or Computer Science and possess the following: 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
A completed bachelor’s degree, technical school or equivalent education preferred  

Must be located in the Ottawa area

10+ Years of experience working in a Networking Sales role or equivalent required.

A proven record of: - - Strategic partner development - Understanding of what Partner success look like - Solid territory sales experience working with Enterprise and Government required

Results focused with the ability to motivate and influence others as well as build trust and respect

Strong customer focus with demonstrated success in positioning and selling IT/Networking solutions to end users through a distribution channel

Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks which have competing demands, while understanding and managing priorities, dependencies and risk

Demonstrated ability to discuss the financial and business implications of solutions.  

Experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences including C-level executives in small and large group settings.  

Can effectively communicate (verbal and written) with and present to all levels – bilingual (French) is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve moderately complex issues • Strong time management skills • Ability to exercise initiative and achieve outcomes 

Computer literacy with an ability to interpret reports and information 

Advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office
