RUCKUS Networks are hiring a Systems Engineer based in the United Kingdom where you will work closely with our EMEA Sales & Support teams. Added bonus, work can be performed from home! We are ready to support our clients on their journey to connectivity with face-to-face meetings and training, a willingness to travel is pre-requisite for this role.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World.

Reporting to our SE Manager - UK, this role will be responsible for providing customer-focused technical sales and support to our customers. The Systems Engineer works as a team, along with an Account Manager to design and sell RUCKUS networking solutions.

 

Here, you will focus on our end users client base, systems Integrators, channel partners and engagement for selected partners in the assigned territory. The position of Systems Engineer will perform technical demos, proof of concept trials, technical training, provide the best quality design input and review, solution-focused selling and positioning to all levels of decision-makers, and deliver presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and events.

 

A successful team member will be a proficient self-starter, with strong technical skills and industry knowledge, excellent listening skills with knowledge of the Federal customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of the RUCKUS wireless and wired portfolio and related technologies. Come connect your future!

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience working with IP/Wireless technologies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills - verbal and written – able to capture relevant information and optimally document and articulate technical findings to senior leadership.
  • A proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering and sales processes including critical account management with the ability to support troubleshooting of complex problems.
  • Advanced understanding of partner business drivers and how to map these to a customer network platform, including identification of improvement areas in network design.

  • A professional-level networking industry certification.
  • Previous pre-sales and/or sales engineering experience.
