Strategic Account Manager

CommScope is looking to add a Strategic Account Manager to our team. This role is responsible for driving growth in CommScope’s market penetration within named Strategic Accounts. The focus of this position is to work closely with large multi-site customers to understand the business needs to drive specifications, manage the channel to support the account and work closely with field sellers to win more business. 

 

This role will be in Northern California, Pacific Northwest, or the  Midwest. It is a fully remote role with travel requirements up to 50%.

Responsibilities:

 

 Build & maintain relationships within the named accounts and drive the achievement of sales revenue goals, & new product sales goals

 Create and execute strategies to penetrate deeper into current strategic customers - working across multiple departments, establishing a senior management contact plan to maintain relationships at the highest levels, and gaining customer adoption of products and solutions.

 Serve as “owner” of the overall strategy for key accounts and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within each client account

 Run the buying process at each strategic account and oversee Dynamics Funnel weekly for all handled accounts and projects.

Drive adoption of technology and, implement program-specific call plans, push program-focused value propositions.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Five or more years of proven experience working in a technology organization with a successful track record of selling into key accounts working with C -Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships and use of virtual / video conference call tools

  • A completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter, competitive drive, high energy, contagious enthusiasm, and an assertive work ethic and follow-up skills
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills

 

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position (base salary and sales incentive plan)  is $138,000- $207,000.

 

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
