The IAM Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and managing key technical IAM security systems/controls that protect our business.
Success in this role will require broad foundational understanding of IAM technologies, standards, and practices, threat actor methodologies and secure system design. Ideal candidate will be willing to stretch their technical comfort zones by working on a broad range of IAM technical controls in an environment where your contribution will matter. Your work will be critical to our CommScope’s cyber security success.

Requirements:
- Design, implement, maintain, and support IAM systems and controls, including CyberArk, Azure PIM, EntraID, Conditional Access Policies, MFA solutions, Azure B2C, and Active Directory.
- Lead engineering efforts for both on-premises and cloud-based identity management technologies.
- Develop and maintain IAM roadmaps, requirements, and architectures for cybersecurity projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for IAM standards and protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, RBAC, Privileged Access Management, SAML/SSL, OAuth, OpenID Connect, etc.).
- Collaborate with IT, security operations, and business units to integrate security requirements into IAM solutions.
- Configure and support authentication and authorization technologies, including single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.
- Participate in security team meetings, change management, and project delivery.
- Conduct performance and efficacy testing of IAM solutions to ensure effective implementation meeting the risk objectives of the business.
- Assist with answering technical questions from auditors and clients, specifically focused on identity governance and compliance objectives (e.g., SOX).
- Recommend emerging IAM technologies and tools to address current and future threats.
- Represent IAM interests to technical staff and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with increasing responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk, Azure PIM, EntraID, Conditional Access Policies, MFA solutions, Azure B2C, and Active Directory.
- Proven knowledge of IAM standards and protocols: LDAP, Kerberos, RBAC, Privileged Access Management, SAML/SSL, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
- Experience with identity governance and compliance objectives (SOX preferred).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrating IAM solutions.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with scripting and/or programming languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python, C, etc.).
- Experience supporting compliance initiatives (SOX, GDPR, etc.).

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $129,700.00-$175,000.00
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
