 Ruckus Networks, a CommScope BU,  is looking to add a Regional Sales Director to support the West Region. The ideal candidate will be in the Western region.  

  

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

 

As the Regional leader for the West, this is a significant role responsible for leading, mentoring, and running our RUCKUS Western Sales Team, including driving revenue, growing market share, and developing confirmed Customer and Partner relationships and new business development, paired with the opportunity to be an active participant in the Americas Strategic Leadership team. 

  

You will have overall revenue responsibilities for CommScope RUCKUS sales in the West and will be accountable for the planning, developing, and carrying out regional growth plans and business strategies to improve market opportunities and drive profitable growth. We will look to you to take direct and hands-on responsibility along with your team for the delivery of sales targets for the region as agreed. Additionally, you will resolve the extent of business potential and identify the most appropriate points of access to customers and ensure the efficient utilization of sales and pre-sales resources. 

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

  • Drive Regional Growth: Own the revenue target for the region and deliver consistent, profitable growth through direct and channel sales motions. 
  • Operational Cadence: Implement a disciplined sales operating rhythm—including weekly forecast reviews, pipeline inspections, and account planning—to improve forecast accuracy and win rates. 
  • Sales Methodology Execution: Ensure team-wide adoption of MEDDICC to improve deal qualification, execution, and velocity across the funnel. 
  • Scorecard Accountability: Manage regional performance through a scorecard framework that tracks leading indicators such as customer meetings, pipeline generation, lead and deal management. 
  • Frontline Leadership: Hire, coach, and develop first-line sales managers to lead with consistency and impact. Equip them to drive team accountability through structured 1:1s and inspection rhythms. 
  • Partner Strategy: Align regional efforts to RUCKUS’s partner segmentation model. Enable co-sell motions with key VARs, distributors, and MSPs to drive channel-led growth. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Enablement, Sales Ops, Marketing, and SE leadership to accelerate time-to-productivity, enhance seller effectiveness, and improve customer engagement. 
  • Talent Magnet: Build a deep bench of “A” players by attracting, developing, and retaining high-potential sales professionals. 

   

Required Qualifications

 

  • 10+ years of related experience. 
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience with a dedication to building successful teams. 
  • 2+ years in building a business based both on solutions sold via channel partners, as well as the capacity to drive demand and build preference with major accounts. 
  • Strong track record of hiring and developing top-performing talent.  

  

You Will Excite Us If You Have: 

 

  • Experience implementing and managing sales operating rhythms, including forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and performance scorecards. 
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC or similar sales qualification frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of partner-led selling motions and working with VARs and distributors. 
  • Prior experience in networking, cloud, security, or infrastructure technology markets. 
  • High degree of technical literacy and ability to credibly articulate technology value.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $212,000.00 -$350,000.00


The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
