Title:  Senior Systems Engineer - Remote

Due to continued growth and customer demand Commscope are recruiting an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our European Engineering team. This is a remote position which can be based in either Germany or Italy.

What To Expect:

As a Senior Systems Engineer supporting the DAS systems you will work as part of a team; collaborating with Product Line Managers, Design Engineers and Testing team to create solutions to meet the needs of our clients. Patent research and defining scope and procedures for product qualification, accreditation, and certification will be vital and daily you'll design and define system architectures (HW and SW), including distributed systems. Experience with wireless communications technology and software development background in real-time systems like Linux, DSP Bios, Kernel, device drivers, bootloaders, and application development will be helpful. You'll connect to multi-core / multi-processor interface, Inter-connect, High Speed Packet handling, Alarms, System Statistics, and OA&Ms driving best in class products.

You Will Make An Impact By:

Using new technologies you will design and own user documentation from product concept through end of life for local and global clients. Creating innovative products that meet the market demands will be exciting and help the company meet their goals. Our products are fully customized and built in-house; with Distributed Antennae Systems and small cells products the growth is endless.

Required Qualifications For Consideration

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years’ related work experience, or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with at least 2 years’ related work experience.
• Experience in wireless communications procedures and standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR, CPRI, ORAN, etc.).
• Proven knowledge of data communication standards (Ethernet, SNMP, http, etc).

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experience in digital and RF product development, specifically commercial radio communication products and systems.
• Validated experience with debugging tools.
