We're seeking a Sr. Manager - Sales Operations to join our team remotely. As a key member of Sales Operations, you'll enable our Global Sales Team to reach targets by leveraging systems, technology, and data-driven insights. Your expertise will optimize sales processes, drive efficiency, and excellence. By analyzing contribution margin and expense-to-revenue analytics, you'll inform strategic decisions on sales resource allocation, incentivization, and process automation. Your work will create predictable revenue streams, align sales goals with business strategy, and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Sales Process Management: Develop, standardize, and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and predictability. This includes managing the sales pipeline and workflow, ensuring that all sales activities align with the company's goals.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data to gain insights into performance trends and areas for improvement. Generate actionable reports that inform strategic decisions and help in setting realistic sales targets and quotas.
- CRM Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system - Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI. Ensure data integrity, implement CRM best practices, and train sales staff on effective CRM utilization.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and market trends. Collaborate with sales leaders to plan and allocate resources effectively. Insight into correlation with marketing campaigns and ROI.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to align sales strategies with company objectives. Ensure seamless communication and coordination among different departments.
- Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve sales efficiency. Use metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas where the sales process can be streamlined.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge. Support the onboarding process for new sales hires, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed for success.
- Incentive Program Insight: Guide sales compensation plans and incentive programs to motivate the sales team. Ensure these programs align with the company's financial goals and drive the desired sales behaviors.
- Sales Tools Implementation: Evaluate and implement sales tools and technologies that improve sales productivity and efficiency. Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies that can benefit the sales team.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations or related field with 10+ years of experience in sales operations, process management or similar field.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth through process optimization, data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, formulas, pivot tables, graphs) and experience with sales operations tools (CRM software, sales analytics platforms, data visualization tools).
- Excellent project management, analytical, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working with sales teams, understanding sales processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with ability to create actionable insights.
Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.
