Cloud Interconnection and Acquisition (CI&A) is the engine that powers Microsoft’s cloud services. The CI&A team is responsible for acquisition of Fiber, Edge, Egress and Peering solutions supporting all of Microsoft’s online services infrastructure. We maintain a full inventory of all acquired services. We work with the various engineering, capacity, and long-range planning teams on a collaborative basis to ensure the Microsoft network has the highest quality and availability globally.

 

The Regional Project Coordinator is a varied role providing day to day support for the Regional Director.

The candidate will need to be robust and resilient when a situation is difficult, time is crucial, and decisions need to be made.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with contracting backlog, data compilation and analysis for CI&A maturity model initiative
  • Assisting with email enquiries from suppliers and other third parties
  • Act a main point-of-contact for MSFT Customers and CommScope PS Manager
  • Validate Monthly stats and inputs into Billing cycle
  • Ensure Team’s Trackers and work queues are up to date and consistent regular customer communications are maintained
  • Hold regular team calls with own Region team, as well as Global Teams
  • Be the point of escalation in both directions
  • Taking meeting minutes for supplier and internal meetings requiring active stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinating with team members to gather and consolidating report inputs and PBI requirements as needed
  • Data entry and cleanup tasks in tools for health and hygiene
  • Maintaining the team file directory, sharepoint, etc.
  • Other tasks and project assignments as required
  • Communication of target completion dates.
  •  

 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management / Coordination Role
  • Working understanding of domestic and global carrier networks
  • Strong Teamwork and Collaboration skills – whilst maintaining the ability to work Independently with strong personal initiative
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Strong PC skills, MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio). MS projects useful but not essential.

 

Other:

Additional language proficiency is a definite asset

Power BI experience will be helpful

 

This is a non-travel position. The position is a “hybrid” role and as such the candidate should have available space within the home to properly fulfil the expectations of the role. The Candidate should be available to work from Client office location as required.

 

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.

 

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
