Title:  Partner Account Manager - Canada East

The Partner Account Manager (PAM) drives overall sales and marketing within a defined set of channel partners. Channel partners include key Networking Distributors and Elite Networking Partners.  The Canada PAM is responsible to proactively manage the relationships, this includes providing assistance and support in developing programs and initiatives to drive engagement and revenue.  Additionally, meeting at minimum monthly, with quarterly and yearly sales goals. This will include formulating plans to nurture partners capability.




  • Develop and manage programs & sales plans with key distributors/partners to drive channel growth and enhance loyalty.
  • Execution of channel strategy and marketing/MDF programs to drive business outcomes.
  • Drive Quarterly Business Reviews with senior management of key distributors/partners
  • Ensure sales and technical knowledge and certification / accreditation levels for distributors/partners by coordinating training, seminars, education and presentations.
  • Manage distributors and assist in building a healthy inventory to reduce supply chain lead time and support partners/resellers.
  • Create and analyze sales reports, identify issues hindering success and take any corrective action.
  • Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, application and disseminate to distributors/Partners as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain positive & proactive relationships with distributors/Partner’s sales reps/management to build mindshare and drive sales activity.
  • Responsible for building a holistic sales strategy and revenue results of targeted channels to achieve quota.
  • Establishing short- and long-term goals in line with corporate objectives.
  • Work with partners to build strong pipelines, and knowledge


  • 10+ years Channel/Territory Account Management experience.
  • Proven track record of sales and in-depth knowledge of Indirect Channel Sales Model - Business Partner and Distribution Processes
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate plans and strategies across matrix organization, at all levels within the company and business partners
  • Experience and acumen in developing and executing business plans and target account sales plans is required.
  • Accomplished presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability and track record of working collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to overcome adversity and objections.
  • A proven, consistent over achievement of sales quotas – exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients.
  • Previous experience selling through distribution and VAR partners, and a good knowledge of channels/distributors in the territory is essential
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is required
  • Location must be Toronto, Montreal or surrounding area

  • Quarterly quota attainment vs annual target
