How You'll Help Us Connect the World
As a Field Application Engineer at CommScope, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our leadership position in customer sales and support for fiber optic cable, network connectivity, and other products and services for the Service Provider marketplace. You will be the go-to person for providing training and support to our customer base while also assisting the field sales team with rapid and thorough complaint resolution and technical support. This position also allows you to identify and propose new product concepts to meet evolving customer needs. Be prepared for extensive travel in the territories of NC, SC, VA, TN, or WV.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Five or more years of telecommunication experience.
- Experience with fiber optic cable and connectivity products.
- A high degree of technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and digital literacy, including PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel upwards of 50% in normal circumstances.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme outdoor environments.
- Located near Catawba, NC or within the territories of North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia,
- Tennessee, or West Virginia.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical subject area.
- Two or more years of progressive technical product experience; internships may qualify.
- Outside plant network design and engineering experience.

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) $138,000.00-$207,000.00
