Director, Sales Germany (m/f/d)


Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Director is responsible for leading a team focused on growing revenue in their region.  The Sales Director must focus on creating a team of high performing sellers during this time of transition for the Infrastructure and Networking business.  The leader will have proven history of collaborative leadership, achieving revenue targets, ability to think transformative, excellent eco-system relationships, manage through areas of conflict with partners, and proven leadership in a matrix organization.


Accountability and Impact

The individual will be leading up to 10 direct reports.

  • Meets team sales and revenue targets
  • Maintains the pipeline and the forecast to required operational standards.
  • Drives new business opportunities to achive targets contributing positively to relevant subsidiary scorecard metrics
  • Transform a Partner landscape based on a mutual value and co-selling towards end customers.



Minimum Job Requirements

  • Several years’ experience leading sales, business development, or technical sales teams
  • Must be Bilingual and fluent in German and English.
  • Knowledge of enterprise network & infrastructure industry
  • Ability to lead growth vision and sales/marketing & operations strategy
  • Team oriented & ability to motivate and work well with diverse cultures
  • Interpersonal skills and experience of managing relationships within a matrix environment
  • Master of the latest business value selling methodologies, capable of coaching sellers woth the "Challenger Mentality"


Key Interfaces and Alignment

Communicates with internal counterparts across the organization in such areas as Accounting, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing, Pricing & Contracts and Global Sales Leadership.
