Job Title: Senior or Director, Distributor Account Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior or Director[CL1] , Distributor Account Manager will be a key driver in shaping and executing the strategy for a major distributor partner, aligning with corporate objectives, and ensuring channel-wide cohesion. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Distribution Channel (Americas), this role encompasses strategic planning, program execution, and daily channel sales management. The successful candidate will develop and nurture relationships, implement strategies for growth, and oversee operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Distributor Partner Leadership:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with senior distributor leaders.
    • Facilitate connections between CommScope and distributor senior leaders to align strategies and drive revenue growth.
  2. Distribution Strategy Development:
    • Create and execute an annual distribution account strategy aligned with CommScope Enterprise's objectives.
    • Drive measurable growth and establish market differentiation through strategic initiatives.
  3. Operational Excellence:
    • Manage distribution operations, including inventory, term sheets, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Ensure efficiency and excellence across all operational aspects.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with Sales Directors, Territory Account Managers, and National Account Managers to align and implement strategies.
    • Partner with counterparts across CommScope business units to support unified goals.
  5. Enhancing Partner Experience:
    • Position CommScope as the partner of choice by delivering a superior partner experience.
    • Build trust and loyalty to differentiate from competitors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Sales & Channel Expertise:
    10+ years of experience in sales, distribution management, and channel strategy within the technology sector, with a proven record in planning, execution, and communication.
  • Program Development:
    Strong experience in creating and managing business development programs with consistent execution.
  • Strategic Influence:
    Exceptional strategic thinking and stakeholder influence skills, including engagement with senior executives.
  • Operational & Financial Acumen:
    In-depth knowledge of distribution business models, financial metrics, and operations, with strong project management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technology Proficiency:
    Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint, and other business tools.
    Experience with AI applications is a plus.
  • Value Proposition Expertise:
    Demonstrated ability to deliver compelling value propositions that drive partner growth and revenue.
  • Leadership in Collaboration:
    Proven success in a cross-functional, matrixed environment as a strategic leader and team contributor.
  • Travel Flexibility:
    Ability to travel up to 50% within North America, with occasional international travel.
