How You’ll Help Us Connect the World
As a RUCKUS Content Development Intern, you will be responsible for Wired and Wireless Publication Projects as part of the NICS Business Unit. You will work closely with Technical Writers and Engineering Teams to maintain and improve customer-facing product guides. This will be a remote position in the U.S.
You Will Make an Impact By
- Assisting the Documentation Team in creating clear and informative content about RUCKUS product features and functionality.
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and other team members to scope, develop, review, and deliver technical content.
- Participating in team initiatives to understand and improve documentation development processes.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
- Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar desktop publishing or cloud-based authoring applications like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

- Have experience with online writing and publishing, including blogs, articles, newsletters, and wikis
- Have knowledge of technical writing standards and familiarity with common style guides
- Have an interest in pursuing a career in science, engineering, or technical writing
- Can work independently and cross-functionally, with the capacity to quickly learn new skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
- Have a strong initiative; are a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
