Title:  Account Manager

Account Manager will develop and maintain on-going account relationships with end customers, installation (contractor) partners and distribution partners. Maintain account presence by providing value-added services and maintaining professional relationships with key customer personnel. Coordinate the sales and customer relationship process to meet assigned objectives, including achievement of product sales goals. Explain technical issues to customers in assigned product lines. Analyze customer business, technology, and product requirements and propose custom tailored solutions to meet customer needs. Develop, grow, and maintain sales and customer relationships at all levels within region. Engage appropriate internal resources to support sales pursuits. Proactively plan and direct sales activities in respective region by performing routine visits, conducting customer training, and providing information on new products/solutions to develop existing and new customer relationships. Execute the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, coordinating sales activities and resources for solution development, presenting solutions and negotiating through the close. Implement appropriate sales messaging, favorably influencing selection of products, services and solutions in targeted accounts. Perform revenue and demand forecasting, account planning, project planning, meeting planning, and customer inquiry follow ups to grow financial objectives. Provide information and weekly status reports to inform management of sales progress and success. Execute the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying sales leads, coordinating sales activities and required resources for solution development, to presenting solutions and negotiating through the close. Use appropriate sales messaging to favorably influence selection of products, service, or solutions in targeted accounts. No direct reports. Telecommuting option available. Domestic travel required up to 50%.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics or Economics and 8 years of work experience
