Supervisor, Warehouse

General Summary

In this role, you are responsible for overseeing the warehousing and movement of materials for manufacturing operations, ensuring a smooth flow from receipt to issue across all departments. You facilitate receiving, shipping, and material handling within the warehouse, maintaining the integrity of materials while in stock. Additionally, you lead and establish processes related to inventory flow, analyzing and auditing all aspects of inventory control, including SAP transactions, warehouse management, cycle counting, and material flow. Your goal is to develop and maintain metrics for inventory variance reduction, accuracy, product traceability, and production improvement. Furthermore, you ensure effective document control over all process-related documents and records.

 

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

  • Ensure that departmental goals are achieved by presenting established objectives and following all company policies.
  • Ensure that employees are at work on time, effectively engaged in their assigned departments, and conforming to established safety regulations.
  • Support PIP saving projects and ensure 5S control. Complete shift reports and hand over shift operations to the next reliever.
  • Coordinate with the Production team, Material Planning team, Quality team, and other warehouse teams to achieve daily production goals.
  • Determine the optimum storage of materials within the warehouse to ensure minimum travel and retrieval times. This includes goods received, work in progress, and finished goods.
  • Establish policies for cycle counts, material movements, and SAP transactions.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as B.com or equivalent with about 4+ years of experience in Stores and Material handling in fast paced stock environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of business systems and procedures with regards to Inventory / Stock holding, important requirements. SAP – inventory background such as receiving, planning, buying, and stores.
