Supervisor, Engineering

Role Overview:

You will be joining CommScope as a Supervisor, Engineering in Goa to contribute to improving the manufacturing process and connecting the world. Your responsibilities will include working with Operations and Quality team to understand and resolve issues, collaborating with the Global Engineering team on updating documents, designing necessary tools/fixtures, defining/modifying processes online, troubleshooting issues, managing tool crib, and leading a team of Process Techs with shift rotation management.

Key Responsibilities: -

Improve the manufacturing process by working with Operations and Quality team

• Collaborate with Global Engineering team on updating documents
• Design necessary tools/fixtures
• Define/modify processes online
• Troubleshoot issues and attend line escalations promptly
• Manage tool crib
• Lead team of Process Techs and oversee shift rotation

Qualifications Required: -

• Bachelors in related curriculum such as Electrical or Electronics or Mechanical Engineering with preferably 8-10 years of experience
• Basic knowledge of reading and understanding manufacturing drawings
• Proficiency in fiber cable and fiber termination
• Familiarity with 7QC tools, FMEA, and control plan
• Experience in team management
