What is Expected:
HR Business partner to certain departments in Goa providing guidance HR support and guidance on all matters. Drive employee engagement activities with a view to improve employee retention and control attrition of talent. Lead hiring activities and end to end management of the talent acquisition process for roles at all levels. Contribute towards data analytics for informed decision making in HR related matters and be part of regional / global projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with the assigned business teams in end-end management of employees by providing strategic HR guidance as required. Support all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to exit. Ensure high levels of employee engagement and provide consistent interpretation and application of company policies in order to help maintain employee morale.
- Assist employees with record changes and company policies by accessing policy information when requested to keep employees and managers accurately informed.
- Assist with Successfactors related matters including requests for creation of Position numbers and raising requisitions in EC SuccessFactors as well as all workflows of the employee lifecycle in EC including compensation and job information changes such a merit restructuring, promotions, equities, lateral transfers, resignations and termination
- Support new employee onboarding activities for new joiners including day 1 documentation, salary restructuring and sharing the data with HRSS for salary restructuring, completing benefit forms, answering questions regarding policies and procedures and providing payroll with information on new employees. Facilitate company orientation and offer HR assistance as required to employees.
- Administer compensation, benefit programs (including medical insurance), employee activity programs, and special projects for employees to insure consistency and reliability of these programs.
- Provide and maintain communication systems for employees through bulletin boards, publications, written memos, personal interviews and meetings in order to maintain proper information sources.
- Support the talent acquisition and process of salaried as well as hourly personnel as required. This includes building strong relationships internal hiring managers, developing recruiting strategies, sourcing, screening and referring qualified candidates, and ensuring full compliance with the staffing process with end-to-end support.
- As a part of HR generalist hourly hiring responsibilities, assist and monitor the position requisition development process by reviewing all requisitions, manage responses, screening applicants and referring qualified candidates to the requesting manager, enter relevant candidate data into the applicant tracking system on a timely basis to ensure full compliance and process consistency. Maintain candidate database/tracker and accurate data on all requirements.
- Coordinate all additional support required during the talent acquisition process including interview setup and support, candidate travel and relocation, management of new joinee reimbursements, recruitment consultant invoice processing, review of agreements and management of third-party agency relationships.
- Support customer audits through the year and ensure all required documentation is up to the required standards.
Relevant Education & Experience:
Master’s in human resource management (or related curriculum) with 6 to 12 years of experience
You will Excite us if you have:
- Relevant HR experience in manufacturing setup or experience handling HR matters for large groups of employees in a factory environment. Experience in dealing with statutory matters and labour relations as well as certification as Factory Welfare Officer would be preferred.
- Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information. Experience handling such information is preferred.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in effectively dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of internet sourcing, applicant tracking systems, HR practices and familiarity with corporate relocation policies strongly preferred.
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively without constant, direct supervision.
- Must have strong computer skills of MS office particularly in Excel (formula and analysis), PowerPoint and Word, Skills in BI/reporting tools like Power BI would be a plus.
- SAP knowledge will be added advantage.
