Engineer I, Maintenance

Due to continuous growth, CommScope is looking to hire a Engineer, Maintenance to be based at our site in Goa, India. Responsible for Maintaining Equipment in perfect Condition. Focus on setting up and executing PM schedules, breakdown maintenance, setting up new machinery / new lines, keeping track of engineering spares. Equipment Upgrades from time to time to improve Operational Efficiency. Should be ready to work in shifts

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

  • Implement & Execute Preventive Maintenance Program
  • Constantly review Spare Parts Program & make suggestions to improve
  • Provide Engineering support to close Breakdown Calls efficiently and maintaining Maximum Machine Uptime
  • Work on Focused Improvements to improve MTBF & MTTR
  • Train Technicians to improve skill & knowledge
  • Conduct RCAs/FMEAs regularly to understand gaps in the system
  • Provide solutions to eliminate repeated issues and process related queries
  • Control & Reduce Maintenance Costs
  • Adherence to departmental KPIs and update Maintenance Dashboards
  • Adherence to all statutory compliances
  • Mechanization of maintenance activities
  • Installation & Commissioning of new Equipment
  • Develop SPMs to improve operational Efficiency or reduce maintenance activities
  • Following all the safety norms and ensuring no norms are violated in any process.
  • Maintaining 5S standards of the highest level
  • Maximize OEE
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Electronics /Electrical/ Industrial Engineering with preferably 6-8 Years of experience Or Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics /Electrical/ Industrial Engineering with preferably 10-12 Years of experience
  • Preferably 5 years in Fiber Optics Connector Manufacturing.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • High level of skill and knowledge in manufacturing/production environment with demonstrated ability to function in a leadership role.
  • Alignment of equipment and complete understanding of installation Standards (both Mechanical & Electrical)
  • Sound Knowledge of Mechanical Systems & Supporting Electrical control system
  • CBM tools like Vibration monitoring/Thermography/Power consumption Dynamics and associated analysis
  • Analytical skills MTBF/MTTR/FMEA/RCA/Pareto Charts/CBM etc.
  • Should be proficient in Solid Works/ AUTOCAD
  • Should be proficient in SAP Maintenance Module
  • Should know 7QC tools , Capable of using the PDCA cycle and the DMAIC process
  • Sound Knowledge of Utility Equipment, Power Systems, Pneumatics & Hydraulics
  • Knowledge of SPMs. Experience in design and development , initiating drawings and collaborating on the same with the vendors.
  • Project Management skills and involved in Equipment Upgrades
  • Should have knowledge of local and international service/spares providers
  • Excellent written & Verbal communication Skills
  • Computer Literate + Knowledge of latest Analytical tools Like Power BI/Tableau etc.
  • Capable of working in Shift, if required
  • PLC and Drive Programming would be added advantage
