Position-Engineer Maintenance


What is Expected :

Responsible for Maintaining Equipment in excellent Condition. Focus on setting up and executing PM schedules, breakdown maintenance, setting up new machinery / new lines, keeping track of engineering spares. Timely equipment upgrades to improve Operational Efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Installation & Commissioning of new Equipment
  2. Implement & Execute Preventive Maintenance Program
  3. Constantly review Spare Parts Program & make suggestions to improve
  4. Provide Engineering support to close Breakdown Calls efficiently and maintaining Maximum Machine Uptime
  5. Work on Focused Improvements to improve MTBF
  6. Train Technicians to improve MTTR
  7. Conduct RCAs/FMEAs regularly to understand gaps in the system
  8. Provide solutions eliminate repeated issues and process related queries
  9. Control & Reduce Maintenance Costs
  10. Update Maintenance Dashboards
  11. Mechanization of maintenance activities
  12. Develop SPMs to improve operational Efficiency
  13. Following all the safety norms and ensuring no norms are violated in any process.
  14. Maintaining 5S standards of the highest level
  15. Anything else desired by Management

Related education & experience

BE Mechanical Engineering with preferably 5-7 Years of Related Experience

You will Excite us if you have:

  1. Alignment of equipment and complete understanding of installation Standards (both Mechanical & Electrical)
  2. Sound Knowledge of Mechanical Systems & Supporting Electrical control system
  3. CBM tools like Vibration monitoring/Thermography/Power consumption Dynamics and associated analysis
  4. Analytical skills MTBF/MTTR/FMEA/RCA/Pareto Charts/CBM etc.
  5. Capable of using the PDCA cycle and the DMAIC process
  6. Sound Knowledge of Utility Equipment, Power Systems, Pneumatics & Hydraulics
  7. Knowledge of SPMs
  8. Project Management skills and involved in Equipment Upgrades
  9. Should have knowledge of local and international service/spares providers
  10. Excellent written & Verbal communication Skills
  11. Computer Literate + Knowledge of latest Analytical tools Like Power BI/Tableau etc.
  12. Capable of working in Shifts & SAP literate
