Job Title: Black Belt, Lean Sigma

General Summary: We are looking for Black Belt professional, be an individual contributor or leading a Project team, driving Local or Global Solutions on High Impact Projects or problems of persistence nature.

It will have cross organizational & functional interactions with Customers, Operations, Planning, Procurement, Supply Base, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and any other applicable areas, in support of Continuous Process Improvement opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

We are looking for dynamic who could perform the role :

Ability to identify value add vs waste and apply structured Commscope methodologies to eliminate waste within the site(s) and across the scope of business. A prerequisite will be to facilitate new methodologies and approaches so as to be able to resolve the natural wastes & inefficiencies that exist in site value stream(s).

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a champion and facilitator within a team. Provide Lean & Six Sigma tools training to certify Green Belts as per requirements by holding project gate review meetings with prospective candidates. Responsible to Report out, progress of the Projects on monthly basis to the Management.

Lean Transformation.

  • Working with peers to identify improvement opportunities utilizing tools such as Value Stream Mapping, and advanced lean tools,
  • Lead and/or support collaborative cross-functional teams,to support corporate improvement projects companywide through Lean solutions incorporating standard methodologies.
  • Lead & manage High Impact Complex Projects as assigned by Champions & Sponsors.

Six Sigma

  • Systemic application of world class Six Sigma tools and DMAIC methodologies to reduce process and / or product variance thus assuring confidence that products and services always meet given Specification.
  • Working with peers to identifying improvement opportunities utilizing Six Sigma Tools, deliver & provide support with training, to include leadership, and direct support. Lead and/or support collaborative cross-functional teams to deliver companywide Six Sigma solutions incorporating standard methodologies.
  • Lead & manage High Impact Six Sigma improvement projects as assigned by Champions & Sponsors. Provide support to leadership and management on improvement project progress, barriers, & issues.

Education

To educate employees in Lean & Six Sigma principles using DMAIC Methodology.as and when required Certify Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt as per requirement by holding Gate Review meetings. Support the design of training modules as and when required.

Training is generally considered as 10% Classroom, 20% mentoring & 70% on the job training. The 3 phases must be supported to ensure that employees master the skills required to deliver Continuous Improvement on an ongoing basis.

Facilitation

We need who can Support timely management of the Continuous Improvement activities relative to a planned calendar and Project Management. See opportunities and promoting change with the Management team.

Financial & cost analysis and maintain awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues and interpretation of Commscope financial data and reports.

Be skilled in understanding how to link efficiency and continuous improvement KPIs to financial measures & reports. Be responsible for and manage budget associated with projects, ensuring adequate return on investment on projects whilst delivering solutions within budget.

Must Have skills

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business or Equivalent in any field with good Academic Track record.

Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experience. 8+ years in manufacturing environment as Black Belt.

Has skills to apply and demonstrate Advanced Lean and Six Sigma Tools. Solid and well demonstrated project management skills, analytical/statistical skill, and problem-solving capability with good business Acumen.

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, and interpersonal skills with excellent decision-making abilities. Knowledge and Fluency of English Language is a must with strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to prioritize Business Needs, Identify and Deliver on High Impact Projects.

Ability to lead project teams across departments and/or cross functional personnel located at multiple facilities. Must have ability to lead cross-functional project teams and motivate individuals without formal authority.

We need who can demonstrated leadership with ability to effectively interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines within the organization. Ability to inspire change where required. Ability to facilitate with managers at multiple locations.

Good at essential software: Office PPT, Excel, Word, Power BI, Minitab.Willing to travel Globally.
