Duties & Responsibilities:

- Product Costing & Analysis
- Prepare and maintain Annual Standard Costing and Current Costing models.
- Analyze product costs and identify key cost drivers.
- Conduct detailed cost variance analysis, including:

- Material Price Variance
- Freight Variance
- Duty Variance

- Perform profitability and margin analysis across various business units and product lines.

- Management Information System (MIS)
-

- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly MIS reports for management review
- Analyze and report:

- Earned Hours Performance
- Peer Benchmarking
- Transporter Share of Business

- Monitor and analyze inventory-related metrics including:

- Inventory Ageing
- Slow-moving and Non-moving Inventory
- Inventory Quality Reports
-
- Support management with actionable insights through data analysis and reporting.
-

- Strategic Cost Analysis
-

- Conduct "Make in India" product cost analysis
- Evaluate local content percentage within product cost structures.
- Analyze pricing and profitability of Contract Manufacturing operations.
- Support business decision-making through cost optimization initiatives.

- Finance & Accounts

- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Assist in preparation and finalization of financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and support annual audit activities.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support compliance with statutory and corporate accounting requirements

- Inventory Accounting & Cost Control

- Manage inventory valuation processes
- Analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and product margins.
- Perform reconciliation and validation of inventory-related accounting records.

- Internal Controls & Governance

- Ensure compliance with SOX controls and US GAAP requirements
- Support implementation and monitoring of internal control frameworks.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial governance.

- Month-End Closing

- Execute month-end closing activities within defined timelines
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reporting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth closing processes.

Relevant Education & Experience:

Required Competencies & Skills
- Costing, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis
- Management Reporting (MIS)
- Inventory Accounting & Cost Control
- Ind AS, SOX and US GAAP Compliance
- Hands on experience in SAP ERP (FI, MM & CO Modules)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
