We are looking for a Sr. SMT Process Engineer to be located in Tijuana, Mexico.

How you'll Help us Connect the World

The Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical support on production floor, updating and creating procedures, developing and improving productive processes for current and upcoming projects as well as NPI implementation.

This position will be in charge of planning and implementing, adapting or modifying procedures or guidelines according to industry standards. Provides training to operative personnel; ECO implementation; continuous improvement attitude.

Is also responsible for capacity analysis, design methodology and production line flow, line balancing and layout design. Works through complex solutions and ensures information is shared throughout the appropriate teams acts as a key contributor of any given project. Is able to drive efforts and coordinate technicians.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred)
• 10 years of proven experience in SMT Areas.
• Continuous improvement experience.
• Work instructions design
• Stencil design and profile generation
• ECO and statistics knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
