We are looking for Engineer I Production to join our Tijuana Team in Tijuana Mexico.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Perform analysis, which requires a full understanding in area of expertise, to improve processes and product performance The scope of this role requires the incumbent to provide administrative or technical support at an intermediate level, and either be gaining or have already attained full proficiency in their specific area of discipline. o Receives general supervision. Normally follows established procedures on routine work and requires more detailed instructions only on new activities and/or special assignments. o Applies acquired job skills, company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks. o Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. May seek the advice of senior personnel in the functional area.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide input for cost savings, improvements, and capacity increases.
• Support production plan by performing a diverse scope of technician duties.
• Apply Lean tools to solve products defects/issues.
• Layout drawing in 2D to support improvements and space optimization.
• Participate in process improvements projects.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, electromechanical, manufacturing engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of related experience in electronic circuit board assembly processes.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the electronics industry and in the design of fixtures/tools to support the mechanical assembly process.
• SolidWorks.
• English- 80%.
