RUCKUS Networks is hiring a Staff Software Engineer who will work closely with our team in Taipei!

The role includes collaborating with the team in code reviews and cooperative development for code quality. It covers the design, development, and maintenance of applications related to system simulation tool. Providing improvement recommendations and documenting software functionality are key tasks. Tools and technologies are used to track issues and aid in effective debugging If you are an engineer with a passion for new technologies and skills, we would love you to join our team!

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• 6+ years of experience in Linux networking system development and integration, including socket programming, routing protocol implementation, and performance analysis in embedded systems.
• Master’s degree in computer science and related majors
• Enthusiasm in programming, and a good understanding in C Language
• Strong knowledge and experience in Linux development, debugging, and problem-resolving skills
• Proficient in network system modeling and simulation tool development.
• Experienced in automating system tasks and workflow using shell scripts
• Great communication and interpersonal skills in English
• Familiar with version control system (Git)
• Self-motivated and a good team player.
• Able to quickly comprehend the new technology and specifications.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experienced in configuring and maintaining VMware ESXi hosts, virtual networks, and storage systems
• Experience with working in Agile environments and with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in building large-scale, high-performance, and high-availability systems.
