Staff QA Engineer

RUCKUS Networks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff QA Engineer to join our team in Taipei!

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

• Develop and document detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Perform thorough software and system testing on Wi-Fi and Switch products.
• Collaborate closely with developers, customer support teams, and field engineers to identify and resolve issues.
• Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure product quality and performance.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across LAN, L2/L3 protocols, and switching features.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA engineering, network/system testing, or software validation.
• Hands-on experience in L2/L3 Switch testing and Switch Management.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols: LAN, TCP/IP, NAT, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, 802.1X, QoS, and Firewall.
• Experiences with wireless security, WiFi Hotspot/WISPr
• Experiences with IxChariot, IxLoad, IxExplorer, and IxVeriWave test tool/equipment.
• Familiar with IP tunneling protocol: L2TP, PPTP, GRE, SoftGRE, IPsec, SSH.
• Familiar with packet capture and analyze.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and test management tools.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experience with automation tools and scripting—Python preferred.
• Experience with testing lab planning, IPv6, Linux & Authentication server setup
• Experience with security test for Authentication, Authorization
• Effective communication and teamwork skills across cross-functional teams.
