Senior QA Engineer

RUCKUS Networks is hiring for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Qualification Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing experience in networking environments, excellent communication skills, and a solid foundation in scripting and automation—especially using Python

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

·       Develop and document detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.

·       Perform thorough software and system testing on Wi-Fi and Switch products.

·       Collaborate closely with developers, customer support teams, and field engineers to identify and resolve issues.

·       Design and execute manual and automated test scenarios to ensure product quality and performance.

·       Analyze and troubleshoot issues across LAN, L2/L3 protocols, and switching features.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

·       Minimum 3 years of experience in QA engineering, network/system testing, or software validation.

·       Hands-on experience in L2/L3 Switch testing and Switch Management.

·       Strong knowledge of networking protocols: LAN, TCP/IP, NAT, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, 802.1X, QoS, and Firewall.

·       Experience with automation tools and scripting—Python preferred.

·       Familiarity with QA methodologies and test management tools.
