Title:  Supplier Quality Engineer


1.Major in electronics or electromechanics with bachelor degree at least, Master is plus.

2.Good command of written and spoken English.

3.Minimum 5 years working experience related to Supplier quality engineering, manufacture engineering of mechanical & electronic parts

4.Familiarity with ISO9000/TL9000/TS16949 Quality Systems.

5.knowledge of basic and advanced Quality tools, such as Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, DOE, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis(8D), Poke Yoke(Error proof), and QC 7 tools etc. GB/BB certificate will be plus

6. Electrical assembly manufacturing experience . Professional on process characteristic in SMT, such as air reflow, solder paste, wave flow, AOI.

7.Familiar with a wide range of reliability, environmental, and qualification programs.

8.The ability to monitor effectiveness of vendor quality programs as well as development reports and implement corrective action programs on an as needed basis.

9.Excellent decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential.

10.Ability to articulate, defend and negotiate Quality expectations with Suppliers.

11.Be honest, active, independent, willing to take more responsibilities, and able to work under big pressure.

12. Be accountable with strong quality sense and good team player

13. frequent travel required


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. QM review and Maintain in SAP

2.Solve material quality issues timely and work with process engineer& design engineer for the specification and drawing improvement

4.Carry out suppliers’ quality system & process audit and assessment and drive for effective improvement actions by CTQ identification and monitor and evaluation.

5.Setup supplier quality performance metrics and analyze performance gap between NPI and mass production and take effective actions to eliminate the gap.

6.Work with supplier to implement new technology and process per CommScope’s requirement.

7.Work with RD, process engineering, reliability engineering to do product qualification while to monitor and improve product quality within entire product life cycle from customer end.

8.Perform supplier capability analysis and work with process engineering and supplier to improve process stability.

9. FAI/PPAP review during qualification process for new parts/new process, etc.

10.Handle routine quality complaints to implement CAPA.

11. Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, provide support with process documentation and metrics identification.

12.Evaluate the effectiveness (Audit) of Suppliers’ quality systems to assure compliance to all corporate and local policies, as well as compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
