As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will support the execution of CommScope’s contract manufacturing and sourcing strategy across global regions. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and resilient supply base that supports business growth, operational excellence, and customer commitments.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with Business Unit and Global Operations objectives. You will work collaboratively across functions such as Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering, Global Planning, and Logistics to support new product introductions, demand fulfillment, and supplier performance management. You will assist with supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, while proactively identifying supply chain risks and implementing mitigation actions. Your work will help optimize cost, inventory, lead time, and cash flow while ensuring compliance with CommScope policies and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management

• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms

• Demonstrated ability to perform cost analysis across components or manufacturing processes

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and global teams

• Professional proficiency in English, written and verbal

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

• Experience supporting sourcing or procurement in multinational organizations

• Exposure to optical telecommunications, data center, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing

• Experience contributing to supplier negotiations or contract management

• Familiarity with cost reduction programs or inventory optimization initiatives

• Project management experience coordinating multiple stakeholders

• A continuous improvement in mindset
