Duties & Responsibilities

Engaging in early design reviews to support design for manufacturing (DFM) and automation soldering (SMT) with R&D team

Review the foolproof design with R&D team to reduce the risk in mass production

Responsible for the trial manufacture of new models, and making and issuing WIs,

Working with fixture engineers and suppliers for new soldering fixture design, review the fixture layout and soldering feature

Experienced in FMEA/DFM/DOE for PCBA

Optimizing the soldering fixture and process to improve soldering yield

Verifying new soldering fixture and process for new designed PCBA, Share DFM report with R&D to improve PCBA design

Monitor the quality of products and cooperate with production on quality, and improve the production capacity and quality

Making sure machine always working well

Communicate with other function teams, such as R&D team, production team, headquarter engineering team, purchasing team, etc.


Minimum Bachelor Degree in mechanical engineering or related major, Master Degree is preferred.

5 years’ experience or above, IPC 610/620 certification

Be familiar with SMT equipment, especially for wave soldering, selective wave soldering reflow soldering and induction soldering process

Be familiar with soldering fixture design

Be familiar with technical specifications for electronic components assembly

Initiative, self-motivated and team player

Be familiar with CAD or SolidWorks, SAP

Good command both in spoken and written English and Chinese
