Engineer I, Quality

This role is based in Suzhou, China, and it is responsible for ensuring products, processes, and services consistently meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations. The role focuses on quality planning, risk assessment, process control, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and driving corrective/preventive actions to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- Conduct product and process quality inspections and audits.
- Monitor production quality performance and analyze quality trends.
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Handle customer complaints, non-conformances, and internal quality issues.
- Support implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support process capability studies and statistical analysis.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Quality, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, such as PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and Kaizen.
- Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or TL9000 and continuous improvement concepts.
- Ability to analyze data and identify quality-related issues.
- Strong learning agility, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis.
- Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis tools is a plus.
