Title:  Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer

As a Sr. Technical Marketing Engineer you'll deliver technical product/feature positioning and messaging, develop deep technical content, technical competitive analysis, and technical field enablement.  Requires expert level experience on core Networking technologies as well as experience on other areas such as Wireless, Cloud management, and Analytics.  You will be a close and strategic partner to Ruckus PLM team as well as R&D, CTO and Go-to-Market; as well as support engineering and SQA (Software Quality Assurance) to review and scrub functional specifications and test plans. You will guide PLM and Engineering during the ongoing lifecycle of product planning and delivery. In this role, you are considered key in driving the evolution and adoption of the expanding product portfolio as a solution for tangible outcomes. You will define, articulate and promote the technical merits and architecture at product, portfolio and solution level, and engage with clients directly. Experience with sales enablement, post-sales support, and writing of technical content, such as blogs, white papers, and presentations, will be helpful to ensure your success.


How You'll make an Impact

You're a key contributor that requires leadership, very strong technical insights and ability to communicate and present with technical proficiency. You will work in cross-functional partnerships with teams such as PLM, engineering, CTO, marketing, systems engineering and other product groups to meet our goals.


Required Qualifications for Consideration

Minimum 5 years relevant work experience as technical engineer

Requires a minimum of BS EE/CS

Expert knowledge of IP Routing protocols: OSPF and BGP/MBGP, SD-WAN, LAN Switching.

Working Knowledge of Security protocols IPSec, MACSec, VFR-Lite

Knowledge of Data Center technologies, core network design, and automation tools

Familiar with Cloud management and Analytics AI/ML, and WiFi technology.

Experience in writing technical documentation & presentations

Expert-level knowledge of networking protocols and market trends like cloud and analytics.

Experience with packet generator tools like Spirent, Ixia, Chariot, etc.

Up to 10% business travel is required.

Previous Technical Marketing experience is desirable.
