RUCKUS Wi-Fi access points are synonymous with high-performance, and as a senior product manager in the CommScope RUCKUS wireless team, you will be joining the team that plays a pivotal role in driving the development, strategy, and execution of cutting-edge wireless access point solutions to deliver the best experience in Wi-Fi. Our mission is to define the future of Wi-Fi and the high-performance wireless products that our customers have come to expect from RUCKUS.  

 

How You'll help us connect the world:

 

This role demands a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and an ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our product offerings.  Your responsibilities will include product definition, roadmap expansion, and competitive positioning as well as working closely with engineering, sales, vendors, and customers to elevate RUCKUS’s position as a leader.

 

 Responsibilities:

 

 Develop and execute a comprehensive Wi-Fi product strategy for RUCKUS, aligning it with the overall business goals and market trends.

 Conduct continuous market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, assess competitive landscapes, and understand customer requirements and trends.

  Establish strong relationships with customers and partners to gather feedback, understand their needs, and translate these insights into actionable product requirements.

  Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that the product roadmap is executed efficiently and within specified timelines and budgets.

  Lead the product development process, including feature prioritization, defining product specifications, and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.

  Plan and execute product launches, working with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing and sales materials, and overseeing go-to-market strategies.

  Continuously monitor and assess product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings and address any potential issues or enhancements.

   Manage the financial aspects of the WAP product line, including pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and budget management.

  Communicate the product roadmap, project status, and key performance indicators to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in product management (5 years+), particularly in networking or technology-related fields (15 years+).
  • Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies and trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused with a keen eye for user experience and product quality.

 

You'll excite us if you have:

 

  • Experience in building Wi-Fi-specific networking products
  • Previous experience designing enterprise-grade products

Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $139,400-$181,100.00
