We are building next generation of ruckus cloud. We are looking for engineers who see the big picture, can span the breadth of the product, jump into the depth of different topics, and bring fresh ideas into various areas.

The mission of our team is to build the plumbing in the cloud infrastructure that makes the cloud services deployment simple and fast. For the cloud team it also includes aspects of large-scale system design, networking, security, configuration and many more areas.

You will be involved with our fast-paced releases. The role requires hands-on development.

The role requires a deep understanding cloud-related technology, highly scaled SaaS services background and management platforms.  You will help by cascading best practices for the engineering organization down to your teams.

 

How You'll help us to connect the world:

 

Work with a team of engineers to define and evolve the architecture and underlying system design to build the scalable platform of the future. You are highly technical and know how to simplify and articulate designs.
Making decisions on cloud characteristics, architecture, scaled services.
Partner with product managers, product owners and various stake holders to define problems and explore solutions.
Design the new workflows, identify gaps, build efficient flows.
Produce software artifacts, write code, deliver high quality software for production consumption.
Solicit feedback from a wide range of stakeholders. Provide helpful feedback to other designers

 

Required Qualifications:

 

10+ years of experience in software development. Well experienced with  Springboot, SpringCloud
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and processes along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects and optimize development strategies
Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Experience with building Cloud vendor agnostic SaaS products.
In-depth understanding of microservices architectures, technological familiarity with public/private/hybrid cloud, OpenStack, GCE, Kubernetes, AWS
Have a deep understanding of building APIs/services:
That is built on top of MQs - RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS etc.
That uses cache like Redis, and Memcached to improve the performance of the platform
That scales to millions of users in a cloud environment like Private cloud, GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.
Good to have OAuth, OpenID, SAML-based authentication experience.
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance.

 

The expected salary range for this position:$135,600.00-176,200.00

 

The Candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
