How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

As a Partner Sales and Solutions Dev Intern, you will be responsible for initiating and managing technical projects within the Networking, Intelligent Cellular & Security group. You will work closely with the Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.  This role will be based in Sunnyvale, CA.

 

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential target markets and customers
  • Supporting the development and execution of strategic business plans and initiatives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of technical solutions
  • Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
  • Partnering with the Business Department to provide issue resolutions
  • Working on CRM Reporting
  • Scrubbing technical documentation for stale data
  • Updating Technical Documentation (Deployment Guides & Best Practice Design Guides)
  • Testing third party technical integrations with RUCKUS Products
  • Managing hypervisor deployments (VMware ESXi), deploying products and solutions, maintaining software licensing, and working with lab network management
  • Posting and maintaining communications with Sales Engineering field for virtual proof of concept program (vPoC)

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in the following Computer Science or Business majors from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

  • Possess knowledge of Wireless LAN networking and Networking protocols
  • Have experience with CRM software
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
  • Can handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
  • Have strong initiative; a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
