Generalist, HR ( 3 months contract )

Duties and Responsibilities
Employee Life Cycle
- Support recruiting and employment of positions in NEA and SEA by supporting managers through the employment requisition process and providing support throughout the employment process.
- Conduct new employee orientation and on-boarding processes.
- Facilitate employee exit and clearance procedures.
- Process workflows in HRIS in relation to employee movements and on/offboarding.
Benefits & Welfare Administration
- Assist employees with record changes and company policies by accessing policy information when requested to keep employees accurately informed.
- Administer group life insurance, health and accident insurance, saving and retirement plans, and establishes and maintains working relationships with company staff and benefit providers.
- Administer compensation, benefit programs, employee activity programs for employees to insure consistency and reliability of these programs.
- Maintains employee leave application portals.
- Assist with year end activities such as generating leave entitlement, carry-over leave, public holiday initialization, insurance renewal administration.
- Collate Government paid leave scheme forms from employees.
Reporting/Administration
- Assist with manpower and labour surveys and reports for the region.
- Collate monthly Sales Reports.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for reporting/presentation purposes.
- Monitor and support new and renewal work pass applications for employees.
- Process invoices from HR vendors/contractors.
- Liaise with internal/external vendor for staff badge creation.
- Support projects within APAC region as appropriate.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to appropriately handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience handling such information is required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and demonstrated strong interpersonal skills in effectively dealing with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and balance job requirements from multiple managers.
- Must have a high level of initiative and be able to work effectively
- Must have strong computer skills including the ability to word process using Word and create spreadsheets using Excel.
- This is a temporary role for 3 - 4 months on a part time basis (2~3 days a week)
