Drive CommScope's Data Center market leadership across Asia Pacific by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to capture significant market share in the rapidly growing Hyperscale, Cloud, MTDC, Enterprise, and AI Data Center sectors. This role is a key member of the Asia Pacific leadership team, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, campaigns, and events. Responsibilities include engaging with the Asia Pacific Data Center ecosystem, and collaborating with channel partners and end-users to position CommScope as the premier Data Center solutions provider, as well as aligning global Data Center initiatives with the Asia Pacific strategy. The successful candidate will be instrumental in accelerating revenue growth and further establishing CommScope as the market leader in the region.

This position is based in Singapore and requires regular travel across the entire Asia Pacific region. The incumbent will have direct reports in Greater China, India, and the rest of APAC.

 

You will Make an Impact By:

 

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Drive aggressive market share growth by developing and executing targeted demand generation campaigns, including digital marketing, account-based marketing, and strategic events, aligned with the competitive business strategy for Data Centers and AI clusters in Asia Pacific.
  • Lead and mentor the Asia Pacific marketing team, providing direction, setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews. Manage hiring, development, and retention of team members.
  • Assess marketing processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster strong collaboration with sales, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing programs.
  • Lead and/or participate in departmental initiatives and special assignments as required.

 

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with Global marketing resources to target account-based marketing to the Asia Pacific region as required.
  • Develop and execute targeted channel marketing programs to drive Data Center sales through channel partners
  • Define and direct the execution of high-impact, private regional Data Center events targeting key Data Center stakeholders, in collaboration with top ecosystem partners.
  • Ensure all marketing messages align with global guidelines and maintain consistent brand positioning.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize the APAC Data Center marketing budget, ensuring alignment with regional business goals and maximizing ROI through detailed performance analysis and reporting. Provide strategic input to the Asia Pacific Sales VP and the global marketing team for annual and quarterly planning cycles.
  • Cultivate and strengthen strategic partnerships with key channel partners, developing joint marketing programs and providing enablement tools to drive mutual growth. Manage the allocation and use of joint marketing funds through the PartnerPro and other incentive programs.
  • Support and expand partner programs and end-user marketing activities by leveraging global assets while aligning with the Asia Pacific marketing strategy.
  • Oversee agreements and contracts with agencies, event organizers, and other marketing vendors.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, pain points, and opportunities, and translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies.

 

You will Excit us if You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in the technology or data center industry, with a proven track record of success in the APAC region. Experience with a top cabling infrastructure solutions vendor a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Data Center and AI ecosystem, including Hyperscale, Cloud, MTDC and Enterprise segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing and mentoring high-performing marketing teams.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more major Asian languages.
