Title:  APAC Technical Account Manager, Strategic Accounts - Hyperscale

The Asia Pacific Technical Account Manager, Strategic Accounts - Hyperscale is highly driven to grow CommScope’s business with Hyperscale customers by translating customer requirements into CommScope products and services, and by providing best-in-class customer support during product selection, delivery, installation and operation. A subject matter expert in physical layer infrastructure with excellent interpersonal skills to develop customer relationships and secure trusted advisor status, he or she is motivated to deliver fast growth for CommScope’s market leading copper, fiber and wireless products and services in the Hyperscale segment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer’s business, technology and product requirements in order to appropriately match solutions to meet customer needs
  • Provide value-added sales and technical services and develop, grow, and maintain professional relationships with key customer personnel, including project managers, design and operations teams.
  • Demonstrate significant expertise in Data Center and Intelligent Building infrastructure products and applications and ability to explain technical issues.
  • Proactively plan and execute technical sales activities including routine visits, hands-on demonstrations, customer training, and sharing information about new products and solutions in order to achieve maximum results in the development of Hyperscale customer accounts.   
  • Assist in ensuring all projects are deployed smoothly and successful to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Deliver sales excellence and achieve aggressive revenue growth targets

 

Our Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer or appropriate field or local equivalent with minimum 6 years of experience
  • A minimum of 5 years structured cabling system sales, design and/or project management experience
  • Subject matter expertise in structured cabling solutions, products and applications
  • Well versed in optical fiber technology including cable types and constructions, optical connectors, pre-terminated assemblies, optical distribution frames and splicing.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center copper and optical fiber infrastructure, familiar with Hyperscale Data Center industry trends
  • Knowledgeable in structured cabling standards (e.g. ANSI/TIA 568C, ISO/IEC 11801, ANSI/TIA-942-A)
  • Ability to influence, train, and mentor customers and channel partners,
  • Deal closing skills to influence outcome of a tender response through product expertise combined with strategic thinking
  • Ability to create and deliver sales and technical presentations with confidence, including hands-on training and demonstrations
  • Strong interpersonal skills including with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in addressing customer challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Current industry technical certifications such as BICSI RCDD, DCDC or other Data Center related certifications a plus
  • Based in Singapore
