Staff QA Engineer

Due to our continued growth and customer demand, we are hiring a QA Engineer who will be based in Shenzhen to support the Access Network Solutions (ANS) business segment.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

1. Conducting new technology research and performing tests for new features on Wireless Access points and controller products.
2. Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide feedback, creating test plans and cases, and coordinating testing activities.
3. Designing and implementing automation, identifying and documenting bugs, and performing regression testing.

Required Qualifications and Experience for Consideration

1. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for media stream processing software and carrier class software application.
2. Perform full range of testing to ensure the quality and reliability of video and audio stream processing.
3. Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools(JIRA, Gitlab, Confluence etc), and processes
4. Experienced in creating test plans and cases
5. Experience in testing multiple network protocols/features such as TCP/IP, IPv6, NAT, IGMP v2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, SNMP, 802.1x, SSH, QoS, SNMP, firewall

You Will Excite Us If You Have

1. Familiar with audio and video encoding formats, bit rate, frame rate, resolution, live streaming latency.
2. Proficient in applying automated testing tools such as ffmpeg or other development tool to recording, converting, editing and streaming audio and video.
3. Experience with Agile/Scrum development process
4. Experience with performance, scaling, and security testing
5. Good English written communication skills to collaborate effectively with developers, customer support, and field engineers.
