Provide project management leadership with business Process improvement opportunities through collaboration and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, direct manager, executive sponsorship, and global business resources. Is responsible for leading the management, the planning, execution and control of the projects, managing reporting mechanisms and identifying and managing risks. Defines clear project or program goals as part of business case development and ensures that objectives are met in terms of time, cost, and quality.

You will help build a cross-functional team that works as a unified unit towards common goals. In this role, you will be a partner on cross-product and cross-team initiatives, working closely with cross-functional team members and leaders. As you partner with team members, you will refine and develop our projects all the way from ideation, development, validation, production readiness to full market launches.Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity, customer impact and scope with a wide range of cross-functional partners.Present monthly updates to organizational and executive leadership.Manage a cross-functional team to stay on schedule and identify recovery strategies when roadblocks are encountered.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for direct support of internal and external customers to provide technical assistance on assigned products and be an active member of the sales team to represent the company products.
• Responsibilities include both pre and post sales cycle support on product information, product approvals, product quotes, coordinate installations, and quality issues.
• Support turn-key projects with internal and external customers according to CommScope process.
• Support and coordinate the CommScope subcontractors to ensure the correct installation of CommScope products in customer site.
• Resource control: Manage materials, tools and personnel, optimizing efficiency in network implementation.Quality supervision: Ensure compliance with technical regulations, quality standards and local regulations
• Risk management: Identify and mitigate technical, logistical, and financial risks during the development of the project.
• Communication and reporting: Maintain constant communication with clients, suppliers and stakeholders, presenting progress reports, incidents and key metrics.
• Process optimization: Implement improvements in the project’s process.
• Assist with alignment of cross-functional teams toward goals by consistently and frequently reinforcing the project direction.
• Develop, execute, and accept accountability for actionable projects and initiatives.
• Provide overall project leadership and management of specific strategic initiatives
• Manage multiple projects effectively.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Two or more years of project or product management experience
• Project management experience and an understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Experience in leading, forming, influencing and managing teams
• Exposure to New Product development processes within and governed by the organization
• Experience with financial data and project financial indicators, such as project budget tracking and reporting.Initiator/motivator; pro-active attitude and a sense of urgency with a drive to get results
• Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making ability
• Excellent communication skills in English, both in written and verbal form, conflict resolution, presentation and facilitation skills with all associate and Management levels
• Considerable experience with computer applications, including PC-based business applications and project management software. i.e. SAP, MS Office
• Ability to travel as needed for up to 10% of the work period
• Be able to work in the Shakopee, MN facility five days a week

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year,  10 days paid vacation (prorated based on start date), and other leave options. Salary range: $70,000-$85,000.
