How You’ll Help Us Connect the World 

As an Automation Engineering Intern, ou will be responsible for equipment and process development projects. You will work closely with the Global Manufacturing Engineering team to assist with the introduction of new Fiber Optic products into production and improving current production processes. n).  This role will be based in Shakopee, Minnesota. 

 

You Will Make an Impact by 

  • Innovating with R&D and Manufacturing teams to develop creative production methods and equipment to improve our global production capabilities 

  • Assisting in the design of mechanical systems and precision small tools using 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks 

  • Collaborating with manufacturing, controls, and process engineering peers 

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration 

  • Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university 

  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0  

  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
