Title:  System Verification Test Engineer II

CommScope is looking to add a System Verification Test Engineer II to the team in Shakopee MN.

How you'll help us connect the world:

  • As a System Verification Test Engineer II you will focus on executing RF, software, and GUI test activities during all development stages of a distributed antenna system (DAS) product line to verify and improve product performance and customer experience. This involves executing both manual and automated product testing, assembly of products and test infrastructure, bug identification and tracking, and test plan and report generation. You’ll develop and execute test automation using LabVIEW, TestStand, and Ranorex; if you have experience with these tools, that’s a plus!

You’ll make an impact by

Designing and developing test programs to measure the functionality and integrity of products; and coordinating with product development teams to deliver stable software and hardware products throughout the entire product lifecycle. Establishing our position as best in brand products.

Required qualifications for consideration:

  • A completed bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience or an associates degree with 7 years of experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working through system performance tests of RF repeaters or communication products using RF protocols such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G NR
  • Experience with writing test procedures, test cases, test scripts, and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluate the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications
  • Familiarity with lab test equipment (including, but not limited to, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.)
