Title:  EMEA Security lead, Global Security Oper

We are currently looking for a Regional Security Lead for EMEA. The Regional Security Lead oversees the physical security operations to include visionary planning, vendor/integrator selection and management, coordination/consultation with IT, installation, contract agencies, investigations and daily security operations supporting 50+ sites within the EMEA region.

 

  • Lead all Physical Security operations in EMEA region; Project management (systems installation and management), Guard service performance and post orders, enforce all policies and procedures.
  • Understand all sites within region their operational activity to best inform the management of what security would be required.
  • Inform Director of Global security updates of all activity within Region.
  • Maintain and manage budgets for security operations within region.
  • Travel within Region to support sites when requested onsite support.
  • Ability to Audit site’s for security operations and establish best practices.
  • Manage all guard services either inhouse or contract service giving direction on responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of CCTV and Access systems.
  • Access Badge management.
  • Implement security policies, protocols and procedures.
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.
  • Recruit security officers and guards.
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches.
  • Investigate and resolve issues.
  • Create reports for management on security status.
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements.
  • Build relationships with local law enforcement and landlords or facilities teams to support security initiatives.
  • Build a partnership with internal stakeholders to enable their work and to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Manage incidents ensuring swift resolution, minimal disruption and identifying lessons to continually improve responses.
  • Manage and maintain security systems (CCTV and ACCESS systems)
  • Responsibilities for badging centers and lead them to support sites.
  • Reinventing the company image.
  • Achieving goals.
  • Lead installations of security systems for new installations of systems.
  • Travel as required to meet business requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

 

Experience and expertise with risk assessments & mitigation, threat management, investigations & loss prevention, security technology integration, measurement & analytics, security-related policy development, budgeting, contract. Vendor negotiation and leadership.

Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related curriculum such as Security/ Criminal Justice or related fields
  • Experience in Law Enforcement, Military, Corporate Security
  • Prior experience with security organization
  • Experience in security leadership
  • Interpersonal and Customer service experience
  • Planning, Organizational, and motivational experience
  • Knowledge of Physical Security best practices.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High School diploma, Further education in security administration or similar field will be an asset.
