Job Title : Technician, CPI

 

General Summary :Perform all daily activities to maintain effective inventory management procedures and accurate databases. Maintain record of inventory and analysis for reduction.

Propose necessary inventory adjustments to upper management for approval with supporting analysis.

 

Job Responsibility

  • Weekly Analysis on Inventory by calculating of days of inventory holding
  • Inventory Days Planning and Management
  • Inventory Classification Slow / Non-Moving.
  • Calculate risk of open PO & release report.
  • Develop process improvements to achieve company inventory targets.
  • Analyze root cause of Inventory issues and release report.
  • Develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and improve inventory turns.
  • Expert in inventory liquidation.
  • Close working with R&D and Engineering to consume Non-moving Inventory
  • Classify and prepare commodity of inventory.
  • Nonmoving material monitoring and cleansing
  • Daily/ Weekly/Monthly reports
  • Ensure system adherence for Inventory / PO Lines / Production completion
  • Weekly reporting of inventory turns.    
  • Generate and maintain weekly reports on inventory levels.
  • Adheres to and audits all inputs and outputs to maintain an accurate inventory management system.
  • Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts, including records of audits, and adjustments.
  • Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities
  • An analytical mind with strong maths skills

Skills Required:

  • Strong PC skills required (MS Office, MS Project)
  • An analytical mind with strong maths skills
  • Ability to analyze information and provide fact-based recommendations
  • Proven experience in management of JIT, KANBAN programs

Qualification: Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 

Experience: Preferably 1~3 years’ experience in inventory management & control purchase background.
