Your Impact
- Drive the design and deployment of enterprise-level wireless networking solutions
- Lead complex projects involving Wi-Fi, access points, controllers, and advanced wireless technologies
- Resolve high-level technical challenges and make decisions that shape infrastructure performance and reliability
- Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology with business objectives and future growth
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of SE technical skills, including:
- 802.11 a/g/n/ac/ax standards
- Wireless design and assessment, heat map creation, troubleshooting, and optimization
- IP routing and switching, WAN/LAN design, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Layer 4-7 application services
- Security authentication methods and products (RADIUS, AD)
- Virtualization environments and deployments (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, GCE, Azure, AWS)
- Cloudpath and related technologies
- Advanced knowledge in:
- VLAN, Security, VoIP, QoS (wired/wireless)
- BYOD/MDM, PtP, Mesh, Wireless Controller Architectures
- Wi-Fi protocols and RF engineering for indoor/outdoor deployments
- Packet capture/analysis tools
- WLAN security (Authentication, Encryption, RADIUS/AAA, EAP/PSK, Active Directory)
- RF polarization and antenna signal propagation behavior
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems effectively
- Strong technical presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical, Computer, or Networking Engineering; Computer Programming; Information Technology; Management Information Systems; Computer Science; Mathematics
- Minimum 7 years of experience working with IP/Wireless technologies
- Professional networking certifications preferred: CCNP, BCNP, JNCIA, PCNSE, Aruba, Ruckus, CWNA, CWNP
