Commscope is hiring a Manager (Network management services & Training) in Richardson, TX


The  Manager (Network management services & Training) and team will be responsible for providing services to CMS customers globally: Technical Trainings, NOC services, Hosted DMS solution, knowledge services and other value added services.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team responsible for providing 24x7 managed services, NOC, Technical Trainings and Technical Documentation to wireless operators, integrators, distributors, partners for CommScope wireless products.
  • The training portfolio  includes online, eLeanings, classroom,  certification trainings and live webinars to internal and external customers.   Trainers are responsible for curriculum development and conducting the trainings.
  • Provide feedback to Sales, Technical Support, PLM and R&D with feedback from the training session on product, services, process or documentation. Maintain high score on customer training surveys.
  • Provide cloud  hosted services to CMS customers globally – hosting, monitoring, and performance reporting.
  • Provide 24x7 NOC services to CMS customer with a variety of SLAs – Bronze, Silver and Gold. Ensure that the NOC infrastructure is setup to meet customer needs and is maintained.
  • Hold quarterly and month service and KPI reviews with customers and internal stake holders
  • Manage knowledge management services including DCCS user documentation, and customer communications.
  • Work with the larger teams, BD, BU, Sales and PLM to look for new opportunities to provide value add scalable services to improve end customer experience and generate revenue for CommScope wireless products.


Skills Required:

  • Bachelors degree with 8 years industry experience and ideally 5 years of wireless experience
  • Minimum 2 years of people management and/or offshore outsourced partner team
  • Wireless technology competency
  • Ability to build services model which are saleable
  • Ease to internal with external customer at a variety of levels
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to break down complex matters into information that is easy to understand
  • Excellent presentation skills and ease to present technical information to various audience levels
  • Ability to grasp new concepts, and products.
  • Customer focus, and experience in understanding customer needs and coming up with innovative ways to service customers
  • Working across groups, and products from sales, business development, engineering and product development
  • Multi-tasking with various training related activities, building contents and working across functions.
  •  People management and experience in driving services a definite assert


Desired/Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with CBRS
  • Experience managing Network Operations Center
