Title:  Asset Management Intern: Summer 2022

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World 

As an Asset Management Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with execution and oversight of asset and configuration management processes and driving the overall quality of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You will work closely with Business Process team in the execution of processes aligned with ITIL best practices, required to support the needs of the organization, and ensuring process compliance to maintain data quality. This role will be based in Richardson, Texas. 

 

You Will Make an Impact By 

  • Supporting asset and configuration management processes, configuration planning, identification, baseline control and auditing activities 

  • Ensuring configuration items and relationships are accurate and complete, building exception reports, and maintaining core data used by the asset and configuration management system 

  • Maintaining and communicating configuration management standards, processes, policies, and procedures 

  • Proactively identifying and suggesting improvements to configuration management processes 

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration 

  • Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree program in Information Technology/Computer Science from an accredited university 

  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0  

  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
