Title:  HR Generalist

We are looking for a multifaceted, organized, self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a Human Resources Generalist. This is an exciting opportunity to support our demanding manufacturing facility based in Rhyl, North Wales.

Operating as part of a EMEA HR team and reporting to a UK based HR Manager, you will be an effective HR Generalist capable of operating autonomously and as first point of contact for the site. You will take accountability of the full employee life-cycle activities in conjunction with high levels of recruitment. It crucial to utilise the ability to drive and deliver HR initiatives in line with the business objectives, by using effective influencing skills through conversations/actions.  Time management and prioritisation is key in the role, as well as clear and concise communication.

In addition to helping execute the day-to-day, you will work with teams to implement all-important initiatives that drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations and healthy communications.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

- 5+ years of experience is required in a HR Generalist capacity across Manufacturing/Distribution functions (c. 150+ employees)
- Must have experience of advising all levels of management on HR Policies and Procedures and Employee Relations, including but not limited to: Performance Management, Capability/Conduct/Gross Misconduct issues and Absence Management
- Must have experience in Recruitment within a HR team, including but not limited to: Effective external stakeholder management, onboarding administration and HR system maintenance
- Ability to understand the business needs and advise accordingly, within the correct parameters and local legalisation
- Must be able to work under pressure and mange workload effectively
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
- Strong focus on deliverables and attention to detail
- Pro-active attitude and key problem solver
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite
