General Summary:

Supply Chain Analyst will assist with efforts to identify, analyze and implement business procedural improvement opportunities through collaboration with Manager, Supply Chain Development, global business resources (including IT assistance when necessary). Primary responsibilities of the position consist of participating in cross-functional operational support teams to successfully implement initiatives and projects that are in alignment with executive strategy plan in attempt to maximize supply chain process effectiveness, enhancement of the Service Model and support of other corporative initiatives.

Analyst will assist with customer facing initiatives to improve all areas of the Service model; including Sales, Customer Service, Production Planning, Forecasting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Distribution, Transportation, and VMI. Provide lead roles for cross-functional collaboration to implement continuous process improvement efforts and best business practices throughout CommScope’s Supply Chain.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to interpret  production capacity schedules and work to prioritize demands to support business needs
  • Provide Analytical detail on historical trends within specific business environments
  • Participate on project team that will analyze, manage and implement corporate process improvement strategies/initiatives/projects and key analysis to support corporate and business unit strategy development
  • Understand VMI processes across all CommScope organization – including both development and execution of the processes.
  • Assist with implementation of initiatives / deliverables that provide continuous improvement, service and efficiencies within the supply chain.
  • Understand internal and external customer needs, evaluate and define current processes, assess internal strengths/weaknesses, develop potential improvement actions, and determines critical success factors and key capabilities.
  • Facilitates, train and lead testing activities related to strategy deployment projects.
  • Draw actionable conclusions and insights from analysis and transition into precise, clear recommendations.


Job Specifications:

  • APICS certification preferred
  • Experience in Supply Chain – specifically Production Planning background 1-2 years of experience
  • Ability to successfully assist with leadership of cross-functional and customer facing initiatives with measurable results
  • Ability to analyze information and provide fact-based recommendations
  • Self-starter, high level of personal initiative and accountability. Innovative, creative, motivating and inspiring individual.
  • Demonstrated track record of participation with developing, managing, and implementing mission critical projects and initiatives
  • Strong understanding of SAP, Business Objects & Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Excellent English communication skills – oral and written
  • Ability to communicate and work at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel domestically if needed
